Meet Kristiyan Buzarski, our Quality Assurance Analyst in Bulgaria

Kris, hi! 🙂 👋 Can you please introduce yourself in a sentence?

Hi there! My name is Kristiyan, everyone calls me Kris. I’m a 26-year-old Tidean who also happens to be a storyteller on the side. 😇

We know that you have been with us for exactly two years now. How did you cross paths with Tide? 

Has it been two years already?! 🔥🚀 I was introduced to Tide by a friend of mine, and I was later referred to join the team, and here we are now. My referrer actually still works at Tide, she became a mom for the second time not too long ago, and I am so so happy for her! Wishing her and the girls lots of happiness!

It’s been quite the journey for me, career-wise; I’ve grown and developed my skills within these two years, I’ve taken up the role I have always wanted 💙, and Tide is the first employer who has seen my potential and given me this opportunity. I have also met a lot of amazing people and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choices.😎

How would you describe your role as Quality Assurance Analyst to someone who isn’t familiar with your area?🔧🔍 For example – what’s your typical working day?

My role consists of analysing and evaluating the work of Tide’s Member Support team, making sure the correct processes have been followed, and to improve said processes if necessary. The QA team also assists with conducting trainings and refreshers for employees, and provides support and feedback. All in all, the role is data-oriented.📊

👉 People sometimes get a bit confused when I tell them what my role is, as there’s Automation QAs, who, as far as I know, are responsible for testing products and providing feedback to the developers, and then there’s my kind of QA – we look at the quality of work of the support department.👌

Yup, that is true 😊
The book itself is a YA (young adult) fiction, a mystery novel 👀, a supernatural story following the life of a boy with the unique (in his universe) gift to create an impenetrable shield around his body and mind. Due to the nature of this ability, the main character finds himself being used by vampires, angels, demons, and other beings. It’s called ‘Untouchable’ ☀️
I started writing it when I was 14, and finally published it right after I turned 16. Two more books got published after that – ‘Untouchable: Rebirth’ in 2013, and ‘Untouchable: Release’ in 2017. 📚

Now, it’s been 10 years since the first book was originally published in Bulgaria! I am very happy and grateful that Tide teamed up with me for this re-release, and that they have been supporting me throughout my career with them. 👊

This is really cool! Tell us your favourite Tide story since you joined 

There are so many of them! The one that perhaps warms me up is the way the team grew over the past two years – it’s very nice to see one’s workplace evolve, and to be able to help people develop and grow. I wish all of them all the best at Tide!

When you’re not at Tide, what’s your favourite thing to do?

I enjoy taking walks or visiting new places with close friends, or if I’m feeling antisocial (that does happen), I absolutely adore staying at home with my cat, Simba 🐈, and playing games 🎮 Diablo II, League of Legends, and Dauntless are my top picks.
