The type of legal support you can get through the helpline
You can get advice on any aspect of UK law. This includes issues relating to your business, as well as domestic or personal legal matters. So, both you and your business are covered.
Some of the topics that Irwin Mitchell covers includes:
- Business and commercial law – contracts, leases and general company law
- Consumer law – dissatisfaction with services or products, and breaches of contract
- Finance and tax law – the legal framework for tax
- Property law – landlord and tenant queries, and support on various property law issues

- Wills and disputes over estates
- Insurance
You can also get help with extended services, such as filing a trademark or taking legal or tax action, for an additional cost. You’ll need to pass Irwin Mitchell LLP’s professional conflict checks for this.
The legal helpline generally doesn’t review documents, or help start legal proceedings and similar actions.
