ABOUT THE ROLE:

Tide is seeking an experienced Email Developer to help support and drive personalized and seamless member experiences. You'll work alongside the CRM team to create, build and maintain new and existing email creatives and templates for our members.

As a Email Developer you’ll be:

  • Working with the Visual Designer and CRM colleagues to understand requirements and convert the designs to effective, responsive email code.
  • You have to create a set of templates and a code library that the full CRM team will be able to use.
  • You will be the email template SME and go-to person for template builds/amends.
  • You will be our expert in ensuring we meet best practice accessibility requirements.
  • You will deliver code that works across email clients and devices, including dark mode requirements and app deep linking.
  • You have to do coding, bug check and test emails to ensure technical quality and that they render correctly across different devices/ ESPs.
  • You have to follow industry best practice guidelines, keeping on top of the latest trends and making sure all templates and designs are responsive and maximized for mobile platforms.
  • You will utilize our MarTech stack, particularly Movable Ink, to ensure we keep our content as engaging as possible.
  • You have to support the team in identifying training needs and create supporting documentation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Has minimum 3 years of experience in, and a detailed understanding of mobile-responsive Email Development/ Design and Email coding (HTML, and CSS)
  • Can introduce standardized/ modular templates with best in class designs and work with the marketing group to implement it
  • Can apply best practices in Email Development, Email compliance regulations, and accessibility
  • Will create a code bank/ template library that is simple to use so a range of mixed skill sets can use the deliverables ongoing
  • Can support in identifying training needs and provide elements of training/troubleshooting
  • Has good time management skills, as you’ll work on various email projects for multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
