About the role 

We’re looking for an experienced engagement marketing expert, someone who has expert-level experience across activating, engaging and retaining customers through innovative and personalised campaigns. You’ll have detailed knowledge and experience of CRM channels and social media with a member-first focus.

You’ll be commercially-minded with strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills. You’ll also be passionate about supporting and developing your team to reach business and individual goals.

In this role, you’ll own the existing member engagement function, working on ways to engage Tide’s members and take on the mission of saving them time and money. You’ll have a strong data-first focus, using this to build effective member-first strategies with the support of your team.

 

What we are looking for 

  • Owning the Lifecycle Engagement Marketing function with an established UK/Europe team with a track record of delivering against objectives and KPIs:
    • Activating new members to the Tide platform
    • Engaging existing members
    • Reactivating lapsing members
  • Relentless focus on the KPIs and wider business metrics to ensure engagement marketing fulfils member needs as well as supports overarching, cross-team objectives and revenue targets
  • Providing direction to the team through effective planning to ensure team objectives and KPIs are forefront of mind and achieved
  • Ensuring UK initiatives continue to evolve and improve, as well as focusing on testing and embedding the approach to the new German market
  • Analysing overall team initiatives and performance to ensure they are the most effective they can be
  • Working with a range of stakeholders from across the business to establish improvements and developments to existing communications, channels and ways of working
  • Working with the Member Accession (Acquisition) Marketing team to create a seamless transition from approval to membership and joined up plans and approaches to enable this
  • Driving initiatives forward with high levels of autonomy, sharing results and recommendations with senior stakeholders from across the business

What makes you a great fit:

  • You have 10+ years of expertise across engagement, retention and loyalty marketing. Must have depth of CRM experience and be able to develop and automate multi-stage workflows
  • You have experience working in a subscription and/or app-based business, ideally in the UK and Europe and in Financial Services or regulated sector
  • You have an expert understanding of marketing approaches and how to drive changes to customer behaviour
  • You have a proven track record of delivering exceptional and effective marketing strategies, consistently achieving objectives and KPIs
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and are able to balance the needs of the business against customer experience and expectations
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to bring people along with you on the journey
  • You have significant experience in leading teams and developing talented individuals
  • You must have experience and knowledge of CRM platforms e.g. Iterable, Hubspot, Braze, and an understanding of HTML and CSS, as well as other key MarTech tools to support personalisation and content generation
  • You have experience handling data from different sources using BI tools e.g. Looker, Tableau, and experience in turning this data into insights
