About You Responsibilities-

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join us as the Lead Partnership for the South region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the fintech industry. They will possess the skills, experience, and qualities necessary for successfully managing partnerships, boosting sales, and expanding the presence of Tide Expense Cards. The role involves establishing collaborations with establishments across Restaurants, Hotels, and Salons and driving the adoption of Tide Expense Cards in the South regions with a strong focus on revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Leads: Identify potential leads in the Restaurant, Salon, and Hotel sectors within the Bangalore region to prospect, pitch, and close agreements to join the Tide platform.
  • Manage Merchant Acquisition Pipeline: Take charge of the merchant acquisition pipeline, ensuring efficient management of both active and targeted leads.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to guarantee the successful onboarding of new partners in the restaurant, salon, and hotel sectors.
  • Support Partners: Ensure onboarded partners are equipped for success by providing ongoing support.
  • Manage and Scale Partnerships: Responsible for managing and scaling partnerships and accountable for delivering business outcomes from each partner.
  • Lead a Team: Lead a team of alliance managers to manage key partners and work with the product development group on the product/platform roadmap.
  • Coordinate Activations: Coordinate monthly activation of consumer offerings and app marketing strategies in collaboration with internal teams, tailored specifically to Tide fintech offerings for hotels, restaurants, and salons.
  • Address Partner Issues: Address partner issues and escalate them to the appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of all queries and concerns.
  • Develop Growth Opportunities: Consistently develop fresh growth opportunities through deeper engagement strategies.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated on the competitive landscape regarding partner positioning within the ecosystem.
  • Achieve Business KPIs: Achieve business KPIs through cross-departmental collaboration, team management, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategize and Execute: Develop strategies and business plans with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth and revenue.
  • Implement Acquisition Strategies: Develop and implement acquisition strategies to create demand, identify diverse lead generation sources, and develop outbound and inbound campaigns.
  • Team Leadership: Provide clear vision, direction, and guidance to the partnership team. Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment. Conduct regular team meetings to align on goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Goal Setting and Performance Management: Set clear, achievable goals and KPIs for the team. Monitor team performance against goals and provide constructive feedback. Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and provide training to enhance team capabilities. Encourage continuous learning and professional development. Organize workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources and assign responsibilities based on team members' strengths and project requirements. Ensure optimal utilization of team resources to achieve targets.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication within the team. Act as a liaison between the partnership team and other departments. Share relevant information, updates, and insights with the team.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the team promptly and effectively. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in Business Development or Sales roles, with at least 5 years in the fintech industry. Proven experience in establishing and fostering fresh channel partnerships aimed at exploring untapped markets and enhancing business prospects, specifically focusing on partnerships within the Restaurant, Hotel, and Salon industries.
  • Educational Background: Graduate/PG with relevant experience.
  • Startup Enthusiasm: Keen and eager to contribute to a startup environment, particularly in identifying new use cases.
  • Creative Mindset: Display a creative and out-of-the-box mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fieldwork Willingness: Willingness to engage in hands-on fieldwork, starting from the grassroots level, to gain practical insights into market dynamics.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to quickly establish robust working relationships, emphasizing effective and meaningful engagement.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a results-oriented work ethic with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: Demonstrate proactive initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Revenue Generation Focus: Strong focus on driving revenue generation from prepaid card sales.
