WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

An experienced Invoice Finance Specialist to join our Asset Backed Lending team (ABL), you will contribute to developing and managing the ABL activity, achieving targets and growing the Invoice Finance function. You will originate, structure and execute receivables-led transactions.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

Origination

You will be primarily working on inbound leads, but also responsible for tapping into your existing network with receivables based finance requests, working with the marketing team to improve and enhance customer acquisition for the IF product class.

You will also be required to actively develop and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally – through KPIs and targets. Originate business in the Invoice Finance market, including participation in customer and lender meetings, preparation of proposals and attendance at market events and conferences.

Deal execution

To propose, negotiate and execute invoice finance facilities in the SME market, to support a variety of proposals from working capital requirements to facilitating growth and unlocking cash flow tied up in invoices. You will be required to analyse customers' business and financial performance, ensuring you remain customer focused. You will lead and support invoice finance enquiries, managing the whole application cycle from first call through to completion. This will involve you identifying the customer requirement, placing opportunities with the correct lenders and keeping both the customer and the lender informed at all times.

Risk management

To effectively assess, prepare and present cases for credit submission, including financial analysis and clearly articulating deal dynamics and key risks/mitigates of each transaction. Operating at all times within the defined risk boundaries from both deal and compliance perspective, displaying a proactive attitude to managing risk.

What makes you a great fit:

  • You’ll have a strong working knowledge of Invoice Finance products/services and offerings
  • You have a track record of successfully helping customers find the right funding
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch
  • You’ll have a  strong network of relationships in the broker and intermediary markets, accountants, debt advisory, corporate finance, private equity, restructuring and accountancy firms at senior level
  • You have very strong financial analysis skills
  • You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait for instruction, and who works backwards from targets to ensure effective execution
  • Three to five years experience in a sales and target based role

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN:
