What we’re looking for:

As the Senior Manager for SAP for Tide, you will be responsible for leading and managing the ERP implementation project for our Finance Transformation workstream, performing system administration and first-level support for Tide finance users. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, design, configure and implement best practices. You will support financial data capture and analysis and define the workflow for key finance processes within SAP. You will also serve as a mentor and coach to finance users, coordinating training and development and driving the company's goal of achieving an appropriate level of internal SAP certification. You will provide thought leadership to drive innovation and facilitate enhanced finance business partnering across the organisation.

As a Senior Manager – SAP you will:

  • Lead and manage the SAP implementation projects through all stages of the SAP activate methodology from preparation exploration through deployment and hypercare 
  • Building on your existing knowledge of finance processes, striving for a high level of automation and standardisation through the design, configuration and implementation SAP based workflow based on best practices
  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements for ongoing strategic development of our SAP ERP capability 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship re SAP to the finance team
  • Conduct end-user training SAP functionality and best practices, contributing to the development of internal training courses for onboarding and upskilling  
  • Stay up to date and informed with SAP public cloud releases, ensure proficiency with new capabilities and features and recommend enhancements through robust analysis and change management
  • Align with wider transformation initiatives and activities including integration between SAP, Treasury, FP&A and HCM systems

 

What makes you a great fit: 

  • You have 7+ years’ experience in the implementation of ERP financial software (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite), or 5+ years of aggregate administration experience and 2+ full lifecycle implementations within a consulting, industry or commercial role .
  • You have 2.5+ years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA public cloud implementation and administration, preferably in the fintech, financial services or SaaS industries. (We will consider equivalent experience in SAP S/4 HANA for on-premises, private cloud or hybrid deployments) 
  • You hold SAP S/4 HANA certification in public cloud implementation e.g. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition – Finance 2308 or equivalent. (While certification is preferred, we will consider qualification by experience)

  • You have a strong technical and functional understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and system capabilities
  • You have strong project management skills and experience in managing end-to-end implementation and improvement/change programmes
  • You possess good working knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, processes, data capture, data analysis and financial reporting.  Qualified accountant preferable.
  • You have experience in defining requirements for system integration between SAP, Treasury, FP&A and Human Capital Management software
  • You are confident dealing with senior stakeholders across the business and owning your work with minimal hands-on management
  • You take a proactive and data-driven approach with sound critical thinking skills and a high level of attention to detail 
  • You have outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills including the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • You are able to influence people and create and contribute to an environment where challenge is welcome and encouraged and feedback is direct and welcomed
  • You take ownership and are proactive in ensuring that team members are able to grow and develop their careers, seeking you out for mentorship and guidance
  • Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications and deliver accurate time estimates 
  • Creation of clear and concise documentation for system users and system admins
