ABOUT THE TEAM:

The PR and Communications team drives Tide’s brand awareness, trust, and reputation, supporting key business goals through impactful storytelling. We handle media announcements, marketing content, member updates, and leadership communications, leveraging a multi-channel approach across digital and physical platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Social Media & Content Manager, Germany you will: 

  • Enhancing Tide’s external reputation by taking charge of our PR social media and content strategy in the Germany, creating best-in-class content that helps to grow our following
  • Managing and creating copy for the Germany social media calendar – you’ll have a passion for the latest trends shaping social media, small businesses and a thirst for other consumer trends
  • Support international teams in the UK and India, working collaboratively on the global social media & content calendar as necessary
  • Bringing complex, technical topics to life on social media through skilled storytelling to help our members start and grow their businesses
  • Finding ways to spotlight Tide members, identifying engaging stories to tell through Tide’s content, with the aim of supporting the acquisition and engagement of Tide members
  • Work with the social community team to ensure Tide external reputation is protected and enhanced
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all campaign activity, refining where necessary
  • Support our internal marketing, engagement, finance, legal, customer support and other teams, and turn great ideas into external social and content campaigns 
  • Working with the PR and marketing team to support and maximise upcoming campaigns and corporate announcements with unique, stand-out social media and content ideas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Experience & Expertise: 6-10 years of diverse experience in managing consumer and corporate social media and content strategies. Proven expertise in platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Social Media Enthusiast: Passionate about social media, staying up to date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Exceptional Copywriter: A natural flair for writing with a confident, engaging, and positive tone.
  • Storytelling Skills: An intuitive ability to identify and craft compelling stories for social media and other owned channels.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficient in tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Figma, GSuite, and WordPress to drive efficiency and creativity.
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience in financial services or technology industries, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and excite diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in uncertainty and demonstrates proactive ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Mission-Driven: A genuine enthusiasm for our mission to help small businesses save time and money.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capable of analysing technical data and complex concepts, translating them into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Highly effective in communication with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset – key to thriving at Tide.
  • Organisational Strengths: Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate people, information, and relationships effectively (with support).
  • Language Skills: Native fluency in written and spoken German.
