Why can’t I log in with my Tide app PIN anymore?

To enhance security, we’ve removed the option to log in to the Tide app with an app-specific PIN.

There are two ways to log in to the app:

  • Fingerprint or face recognition, if your device supports biometrics.

  • The PIN of your phone or tablet.

Using your device’s PIN or biometrics provides stronger protection, as they’re tied to the device’s security framework. This reduces the risk of unauthorised access and keeps your account secure, if your app-specific PIN was ever compromised.

On top of enhanced security, this change makes logging in faster and more seamless.
