How do I set up a Direct Debit?

To set up an outbound SEPA Core Direct Debit, provide your Tide Business account IBAN (and additionally your BIC for crossborder direct debit payments outside the EEA) directly to the payee you wish to pay to. This grants them authorization to withdraw funds from your Tide Business account. The authorisation you provide should also identify whether the mandate is for a one-off or recurrent payment. You do not need to notify Tide about setting up the direct debit.

To locate your Tide Business Account details in the Tide app:

  • Go to the main screen.

  • Click on “Details” next to your account balance.

  • Click on “Share” next to “Bank details” to easily share or view your banking information.
