How do I close my account?

You can close any additional account you have by going to the 'Payments' tab. Tap 'Details' next to the additional account you want to close, scroll to the bottom of this screen and tap 'Request account closure'. You may have to complete a few things before closing, such as paying any outstanding fees. You'll be shown what you need to do and how to do it. You can close your main account and therefore end your Tide membership by staying on this chat and asking one of our team to close it. Before you do this, please make sure: 1. Your account balance is £0 by transferring out all funds to an account of your choosing 2. You've cancelled any ongoing payments, such as direct debits 3. You've downloaded any statements you'd like to keep. We'll also send you a copy of your full transaction history by email within 10 days. You can ask for this again at any point within five years of closing your account if you need. Just email us at hello@tide.co to get this information.
