What is Tide Smart and when will it become available?

With our Smart plan, you’ll get 4 new benefits:

  • 25 inbound / outbound UK transfers per month, instead of 20

  • 1 additional Business Current Account (BCA)**

  • 1 multi-user access role, which will allow a team member to make payments and send invoices on behalf of your business (we’ll share more about this feature when we’re ready to launch it)

  • Enhanced rewards

On top of the current Plus plan benefits:

  • 20 free inbound and outbound UK transfers a month 

  • 1 free Expense Card

  • 24/7 priority in-app chat support

  • 9am - 6pm phone support - weekdays (excluding bank holidays) 

  • 24/7 access to a legal helpline (Irwin Mitchell LLP)

  • A stylish, matte black card

  • 0% fees on foreign currency card transactions or ATM withdrawals*

Tide Smart will become available on 1 December 2024. All Plus members will be moved automatically, and can benefit from the extra features.

*As of 19 September 2024, Free plan members are charged a fee of 1.75% of the transaction amount, for card payments or ATM withdrawals in foreign currencies.

** Free plan members will be charged a monthly fee of £4.99, for each additional Business Current Account. See more about this here.
