Pay at Pump

How does 'Pay at Pump' work?

When you use your Tide card at a fuel pump, we'll send you an app notification for a pending charge of up to £120 - the exact amount depends on which retailer you buy your petrol from or on the balance availble in your Tide Business Account. This is a temporary hold. The final amount is taken after you've filled up your vehicle. Sometimes, the final payment can take up to an hour to be collected. We need the petrol station to confirm how much you’ve spent, but you don't need to wait there until this happens. Make sure your notifications for Tide are switched on, because we’ll send another one after we collect the final amount, and the remaining pending charge has also been released.
