What happens to other team members if I close my account?

When you close your account, the effect on your team members depends on your access within the business:

Non-Admin: If you’re not an Admin, closing your account will only remove your own access. Other team members will keep the access they have.

Admin: If you are an Admin, the outcome depends on whether there are other admins on the account:

  • Multiple Admins - If there are other Admins, closing your account will simply remove your own access. The remaining Admins and team members will continue to have access. Companies with multiple Admins can only close the Tide business account entirely, once all but one admin has revoked their access and the remaining Admin can initiate the account closure process for the entire business.

  • Single/last remaining Admin - If you are the only Admin, closing your account will start the account closure process for the entire business, and all team members will lose access once the business account is closed.
