How do I add a transaction to Tide Accounting manually?

In the app, tap: ‘Admin’ > ‘Open Accounting’ > ‘Bookkeeping tasks’ > ‘Add transaction’

On the web, click on: ‘Tool & Services’ > ‘Tide Accounting’ > ‘Bookkeeping tasks’ > ‘Add transaction’ 

Then, select if you’ve paid or received money, and add the transaction’s:

  • Date and amount

  • Description and category

  • VAT, if you’re VAT-registered

You can also take a quick action in the app, by going to: ‘Admin’> ‘All actions’ > ‘Add Manual transaction’.
