Q: How do I change the accounting and VAT details of my business?

Go to: ‘Admin’ > ‘Open Accounting’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Accounting details’ in the app, and you can change your: Accounting method ( Cash or Accrual accounting ) Financial Year start date – based on this date, we'll prepare your financial reports and your tax return, and make them available to you under ‘Admin’ > ‘Open Accounting’ > ‘Overview’ > ‘Reports’. VAT details, if you’re VAT-registered. This includes your VAT registration status, VAT number and registration date, and VAT Accounting scheme.
