How do I add a transaction to Tide Accounting manually?

In the app, tap: ‘Admin’ > ‘Open Accounting’ > ‘Bookkeeping tasks’ > ‘Add transaction’

On the web, click on: ‘Tool & Services’ > ‘Tide Accounting’ > ‘Bookkeeping tasks’ > ‘Add transaction’ 

  • For the PIN, tap: Cards > select your card > View PIN

  • For the long card number, expiry date and CVC, tap: Cards > select your card > View card details

Then, select if you’ve paid or received money, and add the transaction’s:

Then you must authenticate with fingerprint, face recognition or your passcode, and the selected details will be visible for 45 seconds. To see them after this, you’ll need to authenticate again. 

  • Date and amount

  • Description and category

  • VAT, if you’re VAT-registered

You can also take a quick action in the app, by going to: ‘Admin’> ‘All actions’ > ‘Add Manual transaction’.

Can I copy my card details? Yes, you can copy your card number, CVC, and expiry date separately and paste them into payment forms. For security reasons, you must paste the copied details within 45 seconds. After that, they will be cleared, and you'll need to copy them again.

I can’t see my card details - what should I do?

Please check if:

  • Your Tide app is updated to the latest version. 

  • Your internet connection is active.

  • You’ve enabled the fingerprint or face recognition on your device, if it supports this security option

If the issue persists, tap Support in the app and we’ll help you.
