How are the payments made with Tide Instant Checkout processed?

We’ve partnered with Adyen to facilitate the collection and processing of payments from your customers when you use Tide Instant Checkout. 

When customers pay with Tide Instant Checkout, Adyen will hold the money in a payment processing account which we refer to as ‘Merchant Account’. Adyen uses the Merchant Account to collect and record the payments received from your customers via Tide Instant Checkout before the funds are processed by Adyen and sent to your Tide Business Account.

Adyen’s T&Cs apply to the Merchant Account and the processing of funds in it.
