How do I log in to my account after reinstalling the Tide app, or downloading onto a new device?

To access your account again, you’ll need to go through account recovery. 

After downloading the Tide app from Google Play or the App Store, open it and tap ‘I already have an account’

Account recovery steps:

  • Enter the email address associated with your Tide account. If you’re unsure which one it is, tap ‘Support’ in the app or email hello@tide.co to check with us.

  • We’ll email you a link to open from your mobile device – tap it and follow the next set of instructions from there.

  • Enter your phone number that’s registered with your account. As part of the recovery flow, you’ll receive an SMS with a one-time passcode you’ll need to enter into the app.

As a final step, you’ll be asked to take a selfie. We’ll then perform our security checks that may take up to 2 hours. 

When we’ve completed our checks, you should be able to log in.

Important: To use the Tide app devices must run on either iOS 15 or above, or Android 10 or above.
