TCR200 Promotion
Promotion. Tide Platform Ltd (“Tide”) offers (a) a promotional payment acceptance fee of 3p + 0.79% of the full transaction value for all domestic card payments for a period of 3 months as well as (b) a £200 monetary reward to all applicants who meet the Eligibility Criteria outlined in clause 3 below (“Promotion”).
Terms. The Promotion is subject to these terms and conditions (“Promotion Terms”).
Eligibility Criteria. In order to be eligible for this Promotion, the applicant must:
Download the Tide app and follow the steps to complete checks (“KYC”) and successfully open an application for an account between 01/04/2025 date and 30/04/2025 (“Promotional Period”). Tide reserves its right to open a Tide Account for the applicant only after they have passed our KYC checks as per the Tide Terms. Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible that any applicant has not been approved for a Tide account.
Complete the sign-up process under 3 a. using the Promo Code (as defined below in clause 4).
Successfully order a Tide Card Reader device within the Tide app.
Hold an active Tide membership and be compliant with all applicable standard terms and conditions for Tide accounts (“Tide Terms”) until receiving the relevant Reward under this Promotion.
Use the Tide Card Reader to successfully accept £2,000 of payments on their new Tide Card Reader device within the first 60 days of completing the sign-up process under 3 a. to be eligible for the monetary reward.
Promo Code. The applicant is required to enter the promo code “TCR200“ (“Promo Code”);
While signing up for a business bank account during the Promotional Period on https://web.tide.co/sign-up/, or
While signing up via the Tide app, or
Retrospectively, the Promo Code can be applied within the app’s ‘More menu’ within one (1) week of opening their account, or
By letting us know through the in-app chat within one (1) week of opening their account.
Reward
For each applicant who has met the Eligibility Criteria under clause 3 a. to 3 d., a promotional payment acceptance fee of 3p + 0.79% of the full transaction value shall be applied on all domestic card payments accepted through the newly ordered Tide Card Reader during the first 3 months following delivery of the device. Domestic cards are cards issued to users in their personal capacity in the UK as well as cards issued to UK business (including sole traders). Card payments made by an international card (a card issued outside of the UK) will be charged based on the standard payment acceptance fees as per the Tide Terms. The standard payment acceptance fees will apply to all payments accepted through the Tide Card Reader after the expiry of the first 3 months.
In addition, each applicant who has met the Eligibility Criteria under clause 3 e. will receive a £200 monetary reward credited to their Tide Business Account. It can take up to 8 weeks after the applicant has met this criteria for the requirement to be validated and the £200 monetary reward to be transferred to the applicant’s Tide account.
Miscellaneous
This Promotion applies only to new Tide Members who are opening a Tide account for the first time. No existing Tide Members will be eligible for this Promotion.
Participation in this Promotion is restricted to one (1) per Tide account.
We encourage participants to check these Terms regularly as we reserve the right to amend the Terms and to withdraw referral schemes, competitions and promotions at any time. The participant’s continued use of Tide’s services shall constitute their acceptance of any such amendments.
An applicant must use the Promotion as intended by Tide and must not use the Promo Code as a means to generate income or business.
Tide reserves the right to reverse any monetary reward an applicant receives during this Promotion if (i) the reward was earned fraudulently, (ii) it is found that the applicant has breached the Promotion Terms or the Tide Terms in relation to holding a Tide account, or (iii) a technical error has occurred when applying the reward.
If Tide has reasonable grounds to believe that an applicant has engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to deliberately mislead Tide Member Support to gain the reward) Tide may in its sole discretion take any actions it sees fit in the circumstances.
Tide gives no warranty and accepts no liability in connection with this Promotion or other services/products or the participant’s use of them.
This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Tide offer or promotion in relation to the opening of a new Tide account.
