'CAROOLA2' – Promotional offer Terms & Conditions

1.Promotion. Tide Platform Ltd (“Tide”) offers 3 months of any Paid Plan for free and £100 cash reward to all applicants who meet the Eligibility Criteria outlined in clause 3 below (“Promotion”).

2.Terms. The Promotion is subject to these terms and conditions (“Promotion Terms”).

3.Eligibility Criteria. In order to be eligible for this Promotion, the applicant must:

a.Complete the sign-up process using the Promo Code (as defined below in clause 4);

b.Download the Tide app and follow the steps to complete Tide’s onboarding checks (“KYC”) and successfully open a Tide business current account on or after 09/09/2024 (“Promotional Period”). Tide reserves its right to open a Tide business current account for the applicant only after they have passed our KYC checks as per the Tide Terms (as defined in clause 3e below). Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible if any applicant has not been approved for a Tide business current account;

c.Successfully select at their own discretion one of the then available Tide Paid Plans upon sign-up and upgrade to the selected Tide Paid Plan during the Promotional Period;

d.Successfully make valid card transactions totaling a value of £100 (in one or multiple separate transactions), excluding withdrawals from ATMs, and any disputes and recharges, within 30 calendar days from the date they open a Tide business current account;

e.Hold an active Tide membership and be compliant with all applicable standard terms and conditions for Tide accounts (“Tide Terms”) until receiving the relevant Reward under this Promotion,

(each of these sub-clauses referred separately hereinbelow as “Eligibility Criteria”).

4.Promo Code. The applicant is required to enter the promo code “CAROOLA2” (“Promo Code”); 

a.While signing up for a Tide business bank account during the Offer Period on https://web.tide.co/sign-up/;

b.While signing up via the app, or

c.By letting us know through the in-app chat within 1 week of opening their account, or

d.Retrospectively, by applying the Promo Code within the app’s 'Refer a Friend' section under "Redeem" tab within 1 week of opening their account.

5.Rewards.

a.For each applicant who meets the Eligibility Criteria under clauses 3a, 3b, 3d and 3e above, a £100 cash reward will be applied to their Tide business current account (“Cash Reward”).

b.It can take up to 6-8 weeks after the applicant has met the Eligibility Criteria outlined in clause 3 for the requirements to be validated and the Cash Reward to be transferred to the applicant’s Tide business current account.

c.A Paid Plan reward will be applied to each applicant who meets the Eligibility Criteria under clause 3c above based on the selected Paid Plan (“Paid Plan Reward”). With the Paid Plan Reward, the member will not be charged for the selected Paid Plan for the rest of the billing cycle in which the Paid Plan was selected and for the next three billing cycles (“Paid Plan Discount Period”). Billing cycles typically begin on the 4th of each calendar month. Once the Paid Plan Discount Period is over, the applicant will be charged a monthly fee of £9.99+VAT for “Plus” Paid Plan, £18.99 + VAT for “Pro” Paid Plan and £49.99 for “Cashback” Paid Plan, unless the applicant cancels before the end of the Paid Plan Discount Period. The fee will be billed in the first week of each calendar month. There will be no pro-rata refund of subscription fees in case of early cancellation. Paid Plan terms and conditions apply to the use of the selected Paid Plan, available here (“Paid Plan Terms”).

6.Miscellaneous

a.This Promotion applies only to new Tide members who are opening a Tide business current account for the first time. No existing Tide members will be eligible for this Promotion.

b.Participation in this Promotion is restricted to one (1) upgrade per Tide account.

c.We encourage participants to check these Terms regularly as we reserve the right to amend the Terms and to withdraw referral schemes, competitions and promotions at any time. The participant’s continued use of Tide’s services shall constitute their acceptance of any such amendments.

d.An applicant must use the Promotion as intended by Tide and must not use or share the Promo Code as a means to generate income or business.

e.Tide reserves the right to reverse any Rewards an applicant receives during this Promotion if (i) any of the Rewards was earned fraudulently, (ii) it is found that the applicant has breached the Promotion Terms or the Tide Terms in relation to holding a Tide account or the Paid Plan Terms (if applicable), or (iii) a technical error has occurred when applying the Rewards.

f.If Tide has reasonable grounds to believe that an applicant has engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to deliberately mislead Tide Member Support to gain the Rewards) Tide may in its sole discretion take any actions it sees fit in the circumstances.

g.Tide gives no warranty and accepts no liability in connection with this Promotion or other services/products or the participant’s use of them.

h.This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Tide offer or promotion in relation to the opening of a new Tide business current account.
