The Pitch x Tide Pop Up Competition Terms and conditions
Tide Platform Ltd (“Tide”) and The Pitch (Part of Inkwell Agency Limited) (“the Pitch”) are organising a competition for Eligible Participants (as defined below) in the UK (“Competition”).
The Competition is open to limited liability companies, having a registered address in the UK and to sole traders who are legal residents of the United Kingdom. The Competition is open only to new Tide members who open their accounts during the Competition Period (as defined below).
To be eligible to participate, participants must complete the following steps between 10th of June, 2024 (“Start Date”) and 4th of October 2024 (“Closing Date”), together with the Start Date referred to as a “Competition Period”:

successfully open a Tide Business Account with Tide. Please see here for details of Tide’s Business Account eligibility criteria. Businesses will be eligible to participate only after their Tide account is fully open and approved.
use the same email they submit the application on The Pitch website to open their Tide Business Account or use code ‘POPUP’ or ‘F2FPOPUP’ when signing up for the Tide Business Account. Participants can also use the code ‘POPUP’ or ‘F2FPOPUP’ after signing up to Tide by inputting it in their Tide app or contacting our customer support team via the Tide in-app chat up to 1 week after opening their Tide account.
acknowledge and agree that they are subject to the full Tide Terms governing their use of Tide Platform, which are available at https://www.tide.co/terms/ (“Tide Terms”). The Tide Terms are subject to change from time to time and will include the requirement to go through Tide’s client verification and on-boarding checks. All personal data provided to Tide as part of its client verification and on-boarding checks will be processed by Tide in accordance with Tide’s Privacy Policy. Tide shall not be required to provide any reason or be held responsible that any applicant has not been approved for a Tide Business Account by the Closing Date of the Competition.
Only one entry per business will be accepted.
Twenty eligible participants will be short-listed from the entire pool of eligible participants (“Short-Listed Participants”) by a 4-member panel (“Competition Panel”). The participants will be short-listed by 15 August 2024 on the basis of availability to participate in the Pop Up Events (as defined below), business industry and their application submission. All Short-Listed Participants will receive an email communication announcing that they have been short-listed.
The Short-Listed Participants shall participate in one of the two Pop Up Events, organised by Tide and The Pitch as follows:
on the 8th of September 2024 in Bristol; and
on the 16 of September 2024 in Manchester, together referred to as “Pop Up Events” and individually as a “Pop Up Event”.
All Short-Listed Participants will receive a complimentary Tide Card Reader device for them to use at the Pop Up Event they choose.
Only one winner will be selected from the Short-Listed Participants to receive £5,000 cash reward (the “Prize”).
The winner will be selected by the Competition Panel based on their application responses and business plan.
The winner will be announced by 30 September 2024 (“Announcement Date”). The Prize will be transferred to the winner's registered Tide Business Account within 15 working days as of Announcement Date.
No purchase or payment is required when entering this Competition.
By participating in this Competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions (“Competition Terms”) and the decisions of the Competition Panel, which are final and binding in all respects.
The Competition Panel is composed of 2 members appointed by Tide and 2 members appointed by The Pitch.
The Competition is not open for (i) employees of Tide and/or The Pitch or their holding or subsidiary companies; (ii) for employees of agents or suppliers of Tide and/or The Pitch or their holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; and members of the immediate families or households of (i) and (ii) above.
The General Tide Competition Terms apply. In case of discrepancies between the General Tide Competition Terms and these Competition Terms, these Competition Terms shall prevail.
